The third session of the seminars and traveling exhibition to support and advocate for the Marine Protected Areas network along the Lebanese coast was organized by the Lebanese Environmental Forum at the Byblos Cultural and Social Forum, in collaboration with a group of associations active in the national advocacy campaign for marine protected areas. The event featured the participation of experts, academics, activists, and individuals interested in protecting the beaches and waters of Lebanon.
After speeches from the Environmental Forum and the Byblos Forum, the project manager, Engineer Rebekah Bessiri, presented a visual presentation and a film. This was followed by presentations showcasing successful experiences in marine environmental efforts along the Byblos coast.
The event then proceeded with a dialogue among the participants, who interacted with the exhibition tools and engaged in the advocacy and support activities.
